Talacasto | Malbec
2019 young red wine.
Varietal / Grapes
100% Malbec
Vineyards
Uco Valley (Maipú and Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza – Argentina)
Tasting Notes
This 100% Malbec varietal red wine is an excellent exponent of the Argentine emblematic variety. This is a wine with an intense red color, dark as plums and cherries. Its soft aromas reveal ripped red fruits like plums and raisins with reminiscences of violets and elegant touches of vanilla. Matching with the aromas in the nose, on the palate this Malbec depicts plums, cherries and balsamic hints with an end which resembles dried fruits tastes and a well-balanced-acidity.
Food Pairings
This is a well-structured-wine to pair with meat turnovers (empanadas), barbecue meats (veal or pork) and pasta with mild sauces (avoiding pesto and too spicy tomato-based-sauces).
Serving Temperature
We suggest serving this blend of red grapes between 57 to 61°F (14 to 16°C).
